Softball Tryouts
Entering 7th-12th grade girls are able to tryout for the 21-22 softball on June 1st and 2nd. June 1st will be from 9-11 and time on the 2nd is TBA. All must have a physical prior to tryout. CC Medical Clinic-free physicals May 24th-29th with appointment.

FREE Sports Physicals are being done at Choctaw County Medical Clinic from May 24th-29th. Please make an appointment to schedule your time.

Weir Elementary School hosted their 1st Annual School Science Fair. Students in grades 1st through 6th participated. In second grade students worked either with a partner or individually. Here are the winners: 1st Place -Natalee Simpson and Joniyah Hill Rock Candy (Which solution makes the best rock candy sugar water or koolaid?); 2nd Place - Khairre Carter Hovercraft (Which surface has the least amount of friction for the Hoverboard/craft to move on?); and 3rd Place Bryson Allred and Keegan Mosley Airplanes (Which airplane will fly the farthest?) #WeirExcellenceShines

The sixth graders in Mrs Utley’s gifted class at Ackerman Elementary School celebrated graduation and their last day EVER in gifted at AES by going to Pail of Paint in Starkville to create something special to remind them of all the fun times they’ve had together. After Pail of Paint, they enjoy lunch at McAlister’s Deli and then a sweet treat from Local Culture! #teamAES

The Choctaw Medical Clinic will be offering free sports physicals from May 24th - 29th. Please call in advance and make an appointment. All students who wish to participate in extracurricular activities next year must have one on file.
