Journee Rogers, a 3rd grader at Ackerman Elementary School, is the Prodigy Star in Mr. Richardson’s class for this week! Journee is on a roll and has been the top star for multiple weeks! Great job! #teamAES
Mrs.Emily Tuck’s Kindergarten students at AES assisted Ackerman 20th Century Club Conservation Co-Chair, Ashley Williams, in an Earth Day Project yesterday. Students were given dirt, flower pots and seeds. Students were able to pick out and plant their seeds. The students will water and watch their flowers grow and take them home at the end of the year. #teamAES
Mrs. Busby’s class at Ackerman Elementary School had a great time playing a life size version of Candyland to review for their state test! #teamAES
4th graders at Ackerman Elementary School are Shining Bright and were rewarded with snacks, drinks, and extra recess for doing a great job on their state writing test. #teamAES
SOFTBALL INFORMATION
The softball games scheduled for today at Booneville will begin at 5:00. They will be played at the Booneville City Park, Field #4.

2nd Grade Students Celebrate Earth Day! They read the Book Earth Day Hooray and created a tissue paper heart facts art project. The students also created a Bottle Bap Art Project by reusing the bottle caps from drinks and other items.. They did a great job! #WeirElementaryShines
CCCTC held tours for the 8th grade students. Every student had the opportunity to tour and see what programs they were interested in. It was a great day at CCCTC!!

Ackerman Elementary School would like to thank Kiersen Easley, Choctaw County’s Distinguished Young Woman. It’s Be Your Best Self Week, and she spoke about the 5 elements to classes at AES! Students should be healthy, ambitious, involved, responsible, and studious. #teamAES
BASEBALL UPDATE
Tomorrow’s games versus Choctaw Central will be played on the campus of East Central Community College. Game times will be 4:30 and 6:30.
FCE 1st graders LOVE to read! While waiting on the buses to arrive today, Rylee and Josiah got out their readers to share their stories with each other and Mrs. McKnight.
