Weir Elementary School Junior Beta Club has planned a can drive. Students in each grade at WES are encouraged to bring in canned foods and other nonperishable items starting November 1st. Each class will be competing for a pizza party at the conclusion of the food drive. Anybody can participate by dropping donations off at Weir Elementary School during regular school hours November 1st through November 16th. If you want your donation to help a specific student or class in the competition, please submit the student’s name or class with your donation. The donations will be tallied, and the winner of the pizza party will be announced on November 16th. Then the students in WES Junior Beta Club will box the items, so they can be delivered to Broken Wings Ministry. From there, the items will be distributed to families in need in our local community. This is a small and simple way to have a big impact right here in our own community. The students and staff at Weir Elementary School welcome your support in this effort to help those in need.
