The students in Mrs. Turnipseed and Mrs. Tuck’s class at Ackerman Elementary School learned about the importance of dental hygiene. They did an experiment in which they put eggs in coffee, soda, and water. The eggs represented teeth. Mitchell Dental Clinic sent videos of hygienists who shared how to take care of our teeth properly. Mitchell Dental Clinic also donated toothbrushes and toothpaste for each student in the class. Their support was greatly appreciated, and the students enjoyed the lesson. #teamAES
