
Kyndal Metts and Jacob Wilson welded a guitar made out of pipe. It was something they saw online that was made out of wood and decided to create the similar object made out of pipe using MIG welding, measuring tools, and a grinder to build and shape the guitar.


Ackerman Elementary School students will be able to participate in a viewing of the Solar Eclipse on Monday. Letters and permission forms are coming home today (Friday)! We have purchased glasses for all students.

FCE fifth and sixth graders enjoyed a meal from Bumper’s and game time together. They were rewarded for showing growth on their benchmark tests.




4th graders at Ackerman Elementary School had a great Arbor Day field trip to the Coal Mine. Christopher and Jonah were the essay contest winners for “My Favorite Tree”. Christopher won the Choctaw County School District overall fourth grade reward, and Jonah won the overall AES fourth grade reward. Students planted trees, celebrated winners, ate lots of yummy pizza, and took a fabulous tour through the mine. Part 3 #teamAES
