Coach Smith has his AES students in PE working on their multiplication facts! The student who correctly answers the fact problem earns cups for their team to build the tallest tower!
This WES class is having a great time constructing their plant mazes. Trial and error is a great teacher, they are working together to help their plants grow towards the light they create.

Weir Elementary School has a new sensory pathway in the new hallway. Fit for Kids says "this is a great way for kids to develop motor skills like balance, hand and eye coordination, and spatial awareness. We are excited about this new hallway for our students.
WES 2nd grade students are learning about the importance of making connections and problem-solving with circuit breakers - important traits they will use in the real world. Teamwork is dream work!

Some students at Weir Elementary School completed applications and were selected to assist in the library based on excellent character traits, responsibility, and academic success. While in the library, helping, the student assistants enjoy reading with younger students. Reading with a child helps the child grow academically and gain confidence in his or her ability to achieve.
