5th graders in Mrs. Bruister’s PACE class at Ackerman Elementary School had their medieval presentations on Thursday. Students got to show off their creativity to a royal court of family members after their morning feast!
Mrs. Lisa’s and Mrs. Margie’s PreK students at Ackerman Elementary brought the most canned food items for the Broken Wings Food Drive in November. They received a pizza party for their hard work. The students want to say thank you to Broken Wings.
The 5th grade doctors at the Ackerman Elementary PACE Medical Plaza had a great day seeing patients and diagnosing “symptoms” of their friends and family in their own personal clinics. The students were able to inform the patients about their “illnesses” and explain treatment options and procedures that may be necessary to help them.
3rd grade students at Ackerman Elementary School had a wonderful Grandparent’s Day Luncheon on Thursday! What a great turnout of family members who came to have lunch with the students!

Mrs. Utley’s PACE students walked like Egyptians!!! 3rd Grade PACE presentations are a wrap, and they were AMAZING!! Thank you to everyone who came and supported the kids today as they presented their Egyptian Culture projects.
On Monday, December 9th, some of our FCE 6th grade students volunteered to sing Christmas songs for the residents at the Nursing Home in Ackerman. We are so thankful for students that see the need to visit and bring smiles to our older generation!

Choctaw County School District will operate on a two hour delay tomorrow Wednesday December 11! This is due to the potential of hazardous travel conditions! Breakfast will NOT be served!
