Students at Ackerman Elementary School have been collecting coke tabs! Together the school collected over 100 pounds to donate to St. Jude. Mrs. Turnipseed’s class and Mrs. Gammill’s class collected the most tabs and received a pizza party from 20 Century Club. #teamAES

Students in Creative Writing spent all of November writing short stories for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), and five students "won" the challenge to write stories of at least 5,000 words. Students also received goodie bags from Mrs. Shows.
