The Agriculture Mechanical Core students are developing skills using the SMAW process. They are demonstrating proper arc strike, arc length, and travel speed to produce increasingly better-quality welds. These skills will build a foundation to build on as they continue to study more advanced welding techniques. The Agriculture Power students are fabricating tractor implements using the GMAW process. This piece of equipment will be used to increase productivity but taking advantage of hydraulic technology. Not only does this allow the student to understand quality control techniques but also develop problem solving skills to increase efficiency on the farm.
